Ectokid, also known as Ethan Woods, is a Marvel Comics character co-created by Peter Milligan and drawn by Mike Allred. He debuted in Ectokid #1 in 1993 as part of the Marvel UK imprint's expansion into the American market.
Ethan is a young boy who, after an accident involving an experimental device, gains the ability to see and interact with ectoplasm and the denizens of the ectoplasmic dimension. This grants him a unique perspective, allowing him to perceive the world differently than ordinary humans.
